The ICE funding is wild. Comes out to 38 billion a year through 2029, about the size of the Italian military budget, slightly larger than Australia’s.
Trump better put some deportation numbers up. No excuse now.
Anyone notice when the medicaid cuts start? I wonder why they're waiting so long...
Makes my life very interesting for the next few years. Lets see how many loop holes we can find to get those tax credits baby!!

Well, this ain't good.
@bradstevens I find it concerning that a member of the GOP would write a letter to his governor to hurry and sign their budget before this bill was signed into law, especially when the author voted for this bill.
Seems like he's talking out of both sides of his mouth inthat letter.
@boogie There are no cuts. Only slowing of the rate of growth
I think that is correct. And the slowing in rate of growth is focused on removing coverage for those individuals who are able to work or are otherwise able-bodied, or are illegal immigrants. Since we have already too much demand for healthcare money, I don’t have a big problem with eliminating those folks. I heard, but haven’t verified, disturbing data about this. 4 million people would rather not work, not go to school, and do nothing even if it meant losing Medicaid. That is crazy.
Im also unable to find where this bill targets rural hospitals. Many opposing Democrats keep bringing up this issue, but without any supporting evidence or even cogent arguments.
People are tired of leeches.

It doesn't "target" rural hospitals, but will strongly effect them due to Medicaid being a larger proportion of their income.
