Swalwell is actually my congressman. The scandal he finds himself in is surprising to only one person-himself. I’ve met him a couple of times and got a bad vibe each time. He’s a self-promoting narcissistic scumbag. Not a Trump level scumbag, but let’s just say he makes Newsom seem like Jimmy Carter.
I knew a guy that worked on his campaign for President staff and he resigned before Swalwell dropped out of that ridiculous foray, saying “he doesn’t believe in him after knowing him better.”
I’m not sure who I’m supporting for Governor. I’ve been getting a lot of emails and texts from Becerra and Porter’s campaigns asking for donations, which I’m sure a lot of people have recently. I am proud that I resisted donating to Swalwell, even with a daily barrage of requests before the scandal broke. Something’s not right with that boy!😂 I’m not a big fan of Steyer, although it looks like he’ll be rewarded for his years of financially supporting the political machine and environmental causes.
Come back out to Pleasanton-Dublin and we’ll run a campaign on “We’ll run this state like Cignetti runs a team.” Of course we’d lose, but lots of free beer. 😎
