@bar-down Ahhh... redistricting and ICE intimidation... to be fair, yes, that does mean people outside MAGA are worried about the integrity of the elections. My bad on that part of my response... I'm honestly grappling with the equivalency of those things versus the claims MAGA/Trump are making... Redistricting is horse shit, and both sides are doing it to influence elections, and whenever it happens, its horse shit. But Trump isn't lately talking about that. ICE... maybe that's the yin to the yang crap that Trump, and you, are trying to complain about... The last few sentences you typed... absurd and very Trumpish. Wait... damn it... are you trolling me? Ugh...
@snarlcakes you can’t even go to the mall because blacks ruined it. Can’t go to soccer without worrying about a flying bullet. Can ride the metro bc of shootings and it’s an open air drug market. Shootings literally every night. I mean at some point wake the fck up. We have a problem and we know who it is. But we will elect Cori bush 😂😂. Two and a half years I’ll be in fla. Dems and blacks can keep the fire raging here
Republicans don't want safe guards either. Then they would have to find another excuse for sucking balls.@ohio-guy doesn’t answer his question tho. Why are Dems against safeguards. The public doesn’t trust elections. It’s just another bad look from what’s become a really really bad party
No other President would go on national TV and badmouth the USA like he's doing? None.
Biden did it with his Philadelphia Battle for the Soul of America speech. Biden said if you don’t agree with him you are anti-American and s threat to democracy. He yelled the whole time. The most insulting and demeaning speech ever. Nobody will top it.
@oneeyedundertaker come spend a month in stl near the city. Shooting last night in the park I still play pick up. Blacks are an absolute mess. That’s not racism. Its pattern recognition and reality.
@mrhighlife huh? They want voter id and to reduce the mail bs. Of course republicans want safeguards. B
@iunorth this is a debate that went back years citing bipartisan lack of confidence. Not just redistributing. In voting integrity. Again I don’t believe it’s a significant problem but if a ton of people perceive it that way than why not make it more secure to assuage those concerns. Bc when dem politicians are against it it only makes people scratch their chins
also working to help continue make it easier for people to legally cast votes..
Why is making voting easier a good thing? California has easy voting and the fraud pathways are wide open.
Voting should take more effort than buying Cheetos with an EBT card.
Hey, MAGA. You got fed a whole lot of bullshit last night and ate it all up.
Of course confidence in US elections is down across the political spectrum. That's some kind of revelation? There's low confidence and mistrust because of Donald F*cking Trump and the lies he continues to spew.

@big-ryan agree. Totally trumps fault. But why not take steps to instill greater confidence. Then you shutdown the trump bs and make people feel confident

The most annoying part is the problem is easily fixable. Hire more cops, keep criminals in jail longer, and don't give them 23 chances. I hope you move soon. The suburbs and GOP states are great.
the GOP are the majority in power but not a supermajority. They have offered zero compromise to pull in the very few votes they would need to pass legislation. They do not want to fix this issue because then it wouldn't be a political talking point. It's a game. Both sides do they by the way.@mrhighlife huh? They want voter id and to reduce the mail bs. Thom Tillis: "Senator Thom Tillis (N.C.), a retiring Republican who has become one of the most vocal critics of the Trump administration in his party, delivered harsh words for President Trump's top-priority voter ID legislation on the Senate floor Thursday morning, saying he would stall it if the legislation came again to the Senate.
"If I see a reconciliation bill come from the House with another failed attempt to confuse this election, I will use every device I have available to slow down the wheels of government until people cop a clue and do the math,” Tillis said, nearly shouting, on the Senate floor.
"'I have been trying to explain for nearly a year that the SAVE Act, whether it’s the SAVE Act, the SAVE America Act, the new SAVE legislation that’s being proposed in the House, SAVE goes to Hollywood, SAVE goes to Hawaii, whatever the sequels are, all of them are fundamentally flawed and impossible to implement by this election,' Tillis said.
"Tillis voiced support for some kind of grant program to states that would encourage them to implement voter ID rules and penalize them with audits if they don’t. But using reconciliation, already a difficult exercise, is not the way.
He said it would only serve to cast doubt on the integrity of the election results while also tying up Congress’s precious few remaining legislative days to get things done before the elections."

@snarlcakes black fatigue is real for those of us that live near large populations of them. It’s why Stl went from over a million in the city to 250k. No one chooses to live by them. Why would you. And it’s not all of them. But it’s always them. Sad. I’m over fixes tho. I was a bleeding heart liberal for decades. Studied gov etc. but it’s exhausting. They are exhausting. And listening to Dem politicians here. The freak masked socialist lgbqtxyz alderthing. Cori bush. Mayor after mayor. Soros DAs. It’s like nails on a chalkboard. Just so devoid of an ounce of common sense. Get me to a gated community and forget it
@bar-down There are millions of Blacks that work, pay taxes, don't cause problems. Yet (and especially Undertaker) post as if every Black is rioting, murdering, etc. Whites commit more crime overall than Blacks, even if many crimes show that a higher percentage of the Black population commits the crime. I see a lot of people on message boards posting, "usual suspects." What does that mean? According to this chart, 11,500 Whites were arrested for rape and 4400 Blacks. So which would be a "usual suspect." From 2019, but the one that came up in a very quick search.
I am sure we have too many regs. Here's the thing, I don't want the guy who owns a company that creates hazardous waste deciding how it should be disposed of. Here in Bloomington we had that problem with Westinghouse and PCBs. Dump the stuff anywhere and everywhere to save money didn't work out well for the community.
So when these buisinessmen say they are over regulated, consider for some they would love to dump chemicals in your yard if it saved them 33 cents.
A great example is the businessman that built the sub to go to the Titanic. He took every shortcut known because he knew he knew more than the experts. He did this even though he was likely to be on it if it failed, as he was. You seriously don't think these people exist everywhere in business? I bet Musk is one, and Trump is definitely one.
But yep, let's cut the program to track cyclospora. Let's cut the program to keep screwworms out of the US.
By the way, is forcing women who have had name changes to pay money and take time to get new IDs just another government regulation? Since you hate government regulations...
