British government started a whole "hey, no big deal, but stockpile some food and water" thing this week.
@all4you are you a prepper?
Not really, certainly not in the wackadoodle sensationalized reality TV sense.
That said, I was raised by parents who grew up during the great depression and WWII rationing so my pantry looks a little different than the typical, as does what I keep on hand in the event of an emergency.
I am a firm believer in the saying "I'd rather have it and not need it than need it and not have it". I think the saying "2 is 1, and 1 is none" is the bare minimum when it comes to necessities. Having redundancies in the operations of one's household (power, heating, cooking, refrigeration, fuel(s), transportation, food, medicine, tools, materials etc) just seems prudent and second nature to me.
And if all else fails and SHTF becomes a TEOTWAWKI scenario, I'll be glad that I am a enthusiastic participant in exercising my 2A rights.

@all4you love it. I have a number of friends in your boat. If shit hits the fan I’m prepared to last minutes. Probably should adjust that
My insta algorithm is bears getting hit in the balls, people that look like cartoon characters and inspirational videos of guys talking to other guys about how their wives basically call us a bunch of dumb dumbs, and yet do it with a smile on their face to make it not so bad.
Algorithm = elite
The squirrels are fatter than normal. Something is definitely going to happen.
What about the dogs?

get to work
Murt doesn't know how to put air in a tire, so I'd bet his ability to load and fire a gun, or to operate a can opener, is nil
