A long time ago now, when I was in college, I did a summer internship in Philadelphia. I went to a Reds-Phillies game and cheered for the Reds. Pretty quietly, and not obnoxiously at all. I think I wore a Reds T-shirt.

The dad looked scared and it just seems like weak rationalization for him saying he was trying to defuse the situation. Should have told Karen to fvck off. The norm is for a guy to give any such ball to a kid nearby.

@arthur-dent Two misidentifications. One is a Yankees fan; the other a Red Sox fan. Not that that’s much better than being a Phillies fan.
I’m surprised she hasn’t been outed yet. She showed so little character that you just know she has to be awful in so many other areas of her life. A client, student, neighbor, co-worker, somebody will drop the hammer.
