Also the authorities could put this to bed by reporting what the witnesses heard the shooter say
This isn't grade school. The same college classroom is used by many different classes and by many different professors, every day. Lectures are at most 90 minutes and at most 2-3 days per week. Rooms are reserved / assigned based on number of seats needed for the number of students enrolled.
It's lazy and completely dishonest to say that a teacher of Israeli studies used that room and so that's why the shooting happened. One need only look into what class was in session, and it was an economics class.
