Those of us who are not mathematically illiterate have been calling for something like this for years. It's a complete no brainer. HOWEVAH!
This lesson in compound interest only works if it leads to an eventual replacement of Social Security, Student Loans, Medicare and myriad other Federal programs that steal wealth from the vast majority of Americans. Otherwise it is just yet another government handout.
I am skeptical it will work to that extent, but this a good start. Demystify investing and it becomes obvious how inefficient government is with your tax dollars.
Also, Michael Dell's wife. Woof!
It's a great idea. Hopefully, 25% of it is put into Bitcoin from the outset. @snarlcakeshttps://twitter.com/MichaelDell/status/1995835745806786973

As for Mrs. Dell, she has nice legs and a trim figure.
But what will happen, if past is prologue, is that those children who can already pass the marshmallow test, will benefit disproportionately more than those that can't. By the way, this is a tag on to the BBB:
- Donation from the Dells: Michael and Susan Dell's donation will provide a $250 seed investment for approximately 25 million children aged 10 or younger who were born before January 1, 2025.
- Government Program: Under the government's program, the Treasury Department will provide a $1,000 grant to children born between January 1, 2025, and December 31, 2028.
- Eligibility: The Dells' contribution targets children in zip codes where the median household income is below $150,000.
- Usage: The investment accounts are tax-deferred, and children can access the funds at age 18 for qualified expenses like education, job training, or a down payment on a house.
- Company Involvement: In addition to the Dells' personal donation, Dell Technologies has pledged to match government contributions for children of its employees. Employers, in general, can contribute up to $2,500 annually to these accounts.

Billionaires Michael and Susan Dell pledged $6.25 billion on December 2, 2025, to fund "Trump accounts" for approximately 25 million U.S. children. The accounts are part of the broader Invest America initiative, which was created by President Trump's "One Big Beautiful Bill Act". In June 2025, Dell Technologies CEO Michael Dell announced that the company would match government contributions for children born to Dell employees. The investment details are as follows:

God bless you Brad for pointing out her positive attributes, but I wouldn’t even ride her into battle…
Good on the Dells for trying to have a positive impact on our future, they have my respect & gratitude.
I feel a little bit bad now.

I lived in Austin for a time so that is my fault for not knowing more about Michael Dell.
Still, some day we are all going to be fat, and wrinkly and ugly.
When that time comes you better hope your partner is not vain enough to mutate their body in an attempt to avoid the inevitable.
When that time comes you better hope your partner is not vain enough to mutate their body in an attempt to avoid the inevitable.
I've never understood the need to have extensive plastic surgery. As a guy, I guess that might be insensitive to the societal pressures women face, but I can't recall anyone I've seen and/or known who probably wouldn't look better had they just spared themselves the surgeries and procedures.
But what will happen, if past is prologue, is that those children who can already pass the marshmallow test, will benefit disproportionately more than those that can't
I think that is an excellent point. But in this case the marshmallow test is rigged. Those living closer to the edge will undoubtedly have more need for the money. Think of doing the marshmallow test where one kid hasn't eaten in a day, the others just had a meal with desert.
That doesn't mean this isn't a good idea, just that it will be more limited good for some.
but I can't recall anyone I've seen and/or known who probably wouldn't look better had they just spared themselves the surgeries and procedures.

Women do plastic surgery as much for themselves and other women than they do their men. I personally hate it and thinks it makes them look terrible.
they are addicted to medspas

There’s plenty to be said about an honest woman who’s stuck with you for a long time. Most wealthy men don’t have that
It depends on the procedure. The bad stuff gets highlighted and blows up in the media. The good stuff, that is subtle or super effective, is rarely commented upon. When that time comes you better hope your partner is not vain enough to mutate their body in an attempt to avoid the inevitable.

Perfecting the breast implant, though, should be our society's moonshot. The USA would be remembered for millennia as the society that gave mankind so, so much happiness.
I don't know. Seems like Bezos, Gates, and Buffet all had that. Two gave it up, though. As for Mrs. Dell, she has nice legs and a trim figure.

that’s what I’m saying. Bezos, gates weren’t happy even with their circumstances

I think Bezos traded down.
