He's on tour with his band Dogstar and played there last night. They played Cincinnati a little bit ago and my son wanted to go for the sole purpose of seeing Keanu. We didn't end up going. I'm not a huge fan of their music.

He plays bass in the band and doesn’t really do much else, as far as I can tell.
I think this is a long term passion project for him and some old friends. I’d assume his name gets them gigs they ordinarily wouldn’t get.

They’re fun movies where he goes on a revenge tour killing a bunch of people. The suspension of disbelief grows with each movie, so if you’re ok with that and tons of gratuitous violence, go for it. My 21 year old son loves the franchise.

My wife hates most action movies or comic book-derived stuff, so I end not watching many of them either.
