Very reasonable but Zelensky will reject.

It's not all reasonable. Not at all.

Bwahahahahaha!!!

Gilligan does International Relations...!!

If it was up to your Russia loving ass, there’d be no Ukraine and you’d be scheduling a trip to Russia’s Ukraine region to piss on Ukrainian graves.

The real story is Ukraine has NOT agreed to the original framework that overwhelmingly favored Russia and rewarded them for their illegal invasion. Rubio and team has been negotiating for days with Ukraine and Europe for days to modify the framework into something acceptable to Ukraine and Europe and should be acceptable to Putin. This Europe/Ukraine/US agreement that Ukraine is agreeing to has significant modifications. Apparently, we’re also keeping Russia in the loop. A final deal, hopefully, will be developed. It’s not over. If you didn’t get all your news directly from Russian propaganda sources you wouldn’t be so ignorant, Viktor.

Now that the Russian Tool has been corrected, the agreement that Zelenskyy would be willing to sign has some key modifications. What they don't like but will likely have to accept is willingness to give up land that Russia is occupying only but not agree that these territories are permanently Russian. There is reportedly a change to maximum size of their military to at least 800,000. The security guarantees reportedly would include a NATO article 5 like agreement that Europe and the US would consider any attack on Ukraine (clearly by Russia) an attack on them and they'd respond with things like a no-fly zone, increase military aid and possibly troops on the ground in some capacity (possibilities could be air defense, logistics, security all the way to direct combat) which will likely be left ambiguous publicly. There will likely be a separate side-agreement between Europe, Ukraine and the US for the details.

Now what Europe, Russia and the US have just about completed for their agreement will have to be taken after officially agreeing among them to Putin for him to agree. This is where carrots will need to be offered as well as increased support to Ukraine if they don't agree (longer range missiles, as an example).

Ukraine won't get everything they want and neither will Russia. This is how it works without one side "winning" the war.

If this is pulled off, it will be a real accomplishment for this administration. It didn't happen on January 21st, but that was never a possibility, and the President would be cut some slack for that. 😉

This actually aligns with the "MASSIVE" gains that the Orchs have made over the last 2 years. .

Propaganda R US!

NATO/US has little capital to waste on further support for the Comedian/President's pipedream(literally) of defeating The Russian Republic.

Germany, formerly Europe's economic engine, watches it's economy self-destruct as energy prices double and triple. Meanwhile, traditional German politicians of all stripes form these coalitions with diametrically opposing policies, the sole reason being to defeat AfD.

UK is becoming a Pakistani colony..

UK is the ultimate empty suit.

Like you.

It's well known that Russian corruption dwarfs that of most other countries in the world. Ukraine at least has been trying to address theirs.

You continually prove you know absolutely nothing concerning international affairs.

I told you exactly what's going on and you doubled down on stupid as a Russian Tool, Viktor.

sources saying Ukraine is balking on:

1. Ceding territory not actually held by Russian forces.

2. The 600K military size limit, perhaps solved with a higher number.

3. Forever banning NATO membership - this one is said to be non-negotiable.

I think these are reasonable balks by Ukraine, and in the overall context show a willingness to engage and compromise on Z's part that has up to now been lacking on Putin's.

Who cares about Russian corruption, we’re not sending them billions of our taxpayer money.  What a stupid argument.

The pro-Russians here conveniently never mention the fact that Russia is among the most corrupt countries in the world and Putin is in the middle of it. It’s a relevant fact, not an argument. You need to learn what an argument is.
