@aloha-hoosier if you can’t come out and say that the Russian cyber campaign had no effect on the 2016 election you are every bit the sour grapes, deluded, pathetic loser you accuse Dbm of being wrt to 2020.
I've said a couple dozen times that there is no evidence that the Russian interference campaign changed the results of the 2016 election. Stick your BS right back up your bunghole, loser.@aloha-hoosier if you can’t come out and say that the Russian cyber campaign had no effect on the 2016 election you are every bit the sour grapes, deluded, pathetic loser you accuse Dbm of being wrt to 2020.
Do I know for sure that what Donna read was directly from the Russians? No.
But it is a FACT that Russian influencers were pushing this story and several like it. Even if the story Donna read wasn't directly from a Russian troll, every other Qanon conspiracy theorist read them and then posted their own version of it like a sad online-trolling-telephone game.
You can read all about it in the report from the REPUBLICAN senate.
I can honestly say that I don't think that Trump was in any kind of agreement / collusion with Russians to get elected, but that does not change the FACT that Russians tried to tip the scales in Trump's favor. Was it the difference in putting Trump over the top? We will never know, but there is proof that they absolutely tried.
They didn't do it because they liked Trump. They saw a loudmouth, low-intelligence braggart and figured he was the easier choice to deal with / manipulate. And they were right.
The documents released, as Gabbard explains them, is not about being fooled by Russian disinformation. Instead it’s about American disinformation about the Russians for the purpose of fooling the public and undermining Trumps presidency. It worked. But two things, Obama, Clapper, Comey, Brennan, Rice and a few others can (and probably would) say they believed their own hogwash notwithstanding contrary intelligence. Second, they all likely enjoy official immunity from criminal prosecution.

I would argue Trump had managed the Russians far more effectively than any President since the turn of the century but you’re welcome to disagree.
The report you reference, of which I shared excerpts of in my previous post, shows just how minuscule the Russian droplets were in the sea of online information. Yet you persist, you’re impervious to fact.

Obama likely has immunity thanks to Trump. The others absolutely do not. And we know they knew the info they were peddling was false.
Sounds like another thing for MAGA Republicans to make the GOP look like loons. It's not going to amount to a bucket of spit. The documents released, as Gabbard explains them, is not about being fooled by Russian disinformation. I bet you don't know what they were peddling. Your Twitter Twits misrepresented what is known and your incapable of understanding source material. LOL.Obama likely has immunity thanks to Trump. The others absolutely do not. And we know they knew the info they were peddling was false.
Not sure what you mean by your MAGA reference. MAGA didn’t make Comey, Clapper Brennan lie, or produce the discredited Steele Dossier.
But there is one thing Russia had in common with the Obama administration, both peddled disinformation to fool Americans.
Official immunity has been a thing for decades. It isn’t about Trump. You are just buying into the never-Trump talking points.
Pretty much any public employee has it for discretionary acts taken in good faith and the official gets the benefit of the doubt.

There was nothing "in good faith" about this and it's can easily be proved.
Remember the Duke lacrosse case? Nifong did jail time for falsifying evidence. He had no immunity.
As @unclemark is fond of saying, that’s different.
I don’t think you want a nuanced lecture in how prosecutorial immunity works.
None of those you mentioned produced the Steele Dossier. While it was used as one of several things to get the investigation started, the investigation found that the Dossier couldn't be substantiated and played no part in the findings. Not sure what you mean by your MAGA reference. Nothing is going to come from this, but it'll forever be trumped up among MAGA world long after it's proven that there's not much to it.

Why did Biden have to pardon Fauci and the Jan 6 congresspeople?
