You never read the articles or do any searches for more information, do you? If you did, there's no evidence that this American veteran was "actively impeding" ICE.Isn't a big issue with U.S. citizens that they are actively impeding the job of ICE?
This was a legal Marijuana grow operation, it being California and all, yes?
Even still, Federal agents should go in there every once in a while and rough them up to let people in the cannabis industry know they’re still derelicts and should be treated as such.

Re holding him for three days without seeing a judge for probable cause, unless I’m missing something in this ICE context, there is a SCt case directly on point. I settled a case a few years ago for a couple million against a county jail that was doing that over weekends. But that was a class of about 500 and there were other claims re unreasonable conditions of confinement (no beds, no toiletries, no pads for women, etc).
