@shooter I'm an ok pastor. I've never had a mega church. But I also won't say wrong things to get more people in  the door. What I do have is a love for Jesus my Savior and fellow brothers and sisters in Christ. That is what makes me ok. As the scripture says, "Love Covers A Multitude Of Sins". So even though I am not perfect, when I love Jesus and my people then again that makes me ok.

I'd also add a humble pastor.

...it was wrong to make this all about Trump. I agree with that statement.

Trump made it all about Trump, and you are fine with that. You are fine with Trump quite obviously and unashamedly reveling in the actual murder of one of his critics. You have serious issues.

Reiner had TDS but that's not why he died.  He's dead because we've made a conscious decision in this country to allow people who are clearly mentally ill and a threat to others to roam free.  I've said for years we need to bring back the asylums.  The daughter who found their bodies told police the son was dangerous.  They knew he was a threat yet he was still free.  It's a major problem in this country.

I obviously don't know the Reiners, but from everything I've seen from the outside looking in, they loved their son and wanted to help him. I'd also assume they didn't think he was capable of murdering them. I don't know what the Reiners were doing to get help for their son, but I highly doubt the answer is 'nothing.' Committing your child is probably one of the hardest things you'd have to do as parent. I'd say some grace here is warranted.

which is why they should not be the ones to decide - no family should

but once that line of violence is crossed, society must protect them and the rest of us.

violence must be dealt with strongly - the excuses are allowing many innocent people to be attacked, raped, murdered.

some belong in jail - others in mental hospitals

no violent person should be allowed among civilians

Trump's being dishonest here.

Like shitlibs did with Covid, Trump is simply dishonestly pumping the TDS death count by attributing it to Reiner's situation.

He died WITH TDS, but not BECAUSE of TDS.

It's a bad take by Trump.

Reiner's best scene ever, BTW...

Did Rob Reiner's son have a history of violence? I wasn't aware of that, but maybe that's the case. The unfortunate part of keeping violent people away from civilians is that a lot of times you might not know they're violent until they are.

Yet it is OK for the left to make BS up and call everyone racist and Nazis and the next Hitler.   The entire Dem party ranks far ahead of Trump on the POS list.  Such a bunch of hateful people.

@ohio-guy yes - apparently he had been repeatedly violent in the home against them - all stemming from addiction issues and aftermath

The NY Post article linked above describes how he once a couple of years ago trashed his parent's house in a "meth-fueled rage".  There also seems to be a consensus among friends and family that, even before knowing that "he did it", thinking that it had to be him that did it.

@bradstevens

The way he was murdered and who apparently did it tells us Rob’s life was not all that it seems. There obviously is a history there.

you're as pathetic as your orange master.

To be fair, maybe those calling Trump 'Hitler' are just vying for a spot in his administration. It seemed to work wonders for JD Vance.

@aloha-hoosier The President was saying that Reiner because of his TDS was driving people crazy. I don't think he was saying that this was the only reason why Reiner's son went nuts, but that Reiner was creating a lot of bad vibes with people around him, which would include his son. No, I don't think DJT is the Anti Christ. But thinking he is or might be is perhaps an indication of TDS

Frankly, your post is shameful.

Now if one of the reasons why it happened was because the Father had created disharmony in the family because of his hatred for Trump then that is part of the story. But Trump is not the whole story.

Silly question:  How do you know that Nick Reiner had a different opinion about Trump than his dad?  Considering we are talking about Los Angeles here, odds are decent that Rob, his wife, and Nick all had the exact same opinion about Trump.  I mean, in case you haven't looked at the polls lately, something in the area of 60 to 65 percent of Americans have a negative approval rating of Trump, and that number is probably even higher in southern California.  My point being, Rob Reiner making critical statements about how crappy a person Trump is might have been well received by Nick, meaning that there was nothing "disharmonious" about it.

There is NOTHING about this story that involved Trump until Trump interjected himself into it.

So, you are admitting what Trump said is in line with being a POS and hateful?
