The names are familiar, but I can’t place them.  My hangouts were The gables, Fergies,  Regulator and the Pizza Barn. 

@co-hoosier Whitesides was the great clothing store on the square, where Malibu Grill is or was (haven’t been in downtown Bloomington in several years). The Book Nook was on the corner of Kirkwood and Indiana.

@unclemark Nope. On Kirkwood and Indiana, across from the parking lot next to the Von Lee and close to the law school.

There was a bookstore on Kirkwood and Walnut, but it was second-rate (no porn magazines for grade schoolers and Junior High kids to pilfer). Don’t remember its name.
