Look, if Newsom wins it running away and picks AOC as a running mate, I'll concede. I'm just saying you can't judge where the party is as a whole based on the 2024 ticket. The 2024 ticket was the result of a very strange set of circumstances.
Totally false.It’s time to stop acting like MAGA is something new and different. MAGA has been around as GOP priorities for decades. GOP policies are like a bucket of golf balls. All Trump did was to slap a MAGA sticker on the bucket. It’s the same bucket. The data showing a swing towards MAGA is actually a refreshing swing towards the GOP.
But Trump is by no means irrelevant. He was taken those golf balls and played them. Before Trump, many in the GOP loved to talk about those balls but only tried to play a few of them, and most of them weren’t very good at playing them.

Maybe a guy like that could pick off a bunch of pubs. Appeal to workers etc. I’d certainly be open to him. 100 percent.

I believe you're suffering from exposure bias. You're getting a view of where the party is based on the select sample of behavior that comes across your feed. Like I said, let's see what happens after '26.
