Two things:

First crime statistics are notoriously unreliable.  Some communities and agencies don’t report most property crimes and highly select personal crimes.

Second, I don’t know what one would even study in order to compile reliable data about immigrant crime.  Many immigrant criminals are deported with no criminal charges.  I do know incarceration rates aren’t relevant at all.

COH, good point.

Remember reading former U.S. Attorney General Ramsey Clark's book Crime in America  back in 1970 which pointed out how unreliable local  Crime statistics were.

Guess some things never change.

Especially when they don't back up your POV.

CoH,

The immigrant crime statistics which I posted came from the Cato Institute. The Cato statistical methods have been challenged by think tanks such as the Center for Immigration Studies (CIS). CIS contends Cato under counts  immigration crime.

Of course they will claim that. CATO generally supports immigration, while CIS does not.

Uncle Mark,

Guess we will just have to believe whatever Our President tells us about those immigrants 😀 .

As to another point, what exactly does a lawyer do that you think AI could never do?

Exercise professional judgment. That reward human conciseness.  It requires the ability to evaluate and interpret the myriad of factors that make up “ context”.

Trump's legal teams have proven exercising professional judgment isn't exactly a given.

AI would likely be better at determining whether or not a lawsuit has merit or is just wasting time and money

Yeah. If AI made these decisions, separate but equal would still be the law of the land.

How could Ai ignore studies presented to SCOTUS in Brown illustrating how African American children felt inferior. ?

The demographic change of the last three to four decades was always going to cause strife, because multi-culturalism is a failed operating model.

Based on what? This isn't a racial issue - it's a cultural problem.

Aside from the accident of birth, what did they do wrong?

The better question is why were the family of terrorists that kidnapped Americans allowed into the country & given permanent status?

I’d wager they somehow managed to cut to the front of the line.

In my book, they’d come at the very end of the line. After about 5-10 billion other earthlings were offered the chance.
