As a Zionist this continues to sicken my stomach. Even the orthodox community have begun to turn their backs on the treatment of Gaza citizens and the settlers of the West Bank. Recently a letter signed by 80 Orthodox rabbis was written. The Jewish community here is beginning to become more vocal in opposition.
US administrations of both parties used to be a check against Israel but that is clearly no longer the case. I think we’ll find out shortly if that was good policy or bad.

I think this makes a lot of sense and is a scenario where his populist disrupter routine can do some good. He’s unencumbered with the traditions of even his own party. It took 35ish years to normalize relations with Vietnam.
@goat I’m telling you the Jewish community here from every sect is beginning to feel real uncomfortable…..we’ll have to see how this plays out. So far I don’t believe any of the major Jewish institutions have commented. With the Jewish high holiday coming up starting this Monday night it will be interesting to see if any Rabbi’s will start using the pulpit to take a stand. Rosh Hashanah and Yom Kippur are the most heavily attended services.

Not sure what you're bitching about on Ukraine. He's tried almost everything other than starting WW3. I want him to pull us out completely but that probably won't happen. It's Biden's mess and Trump has done all he can to clean it up.
