The middle one was cheesy as hell, but didn't break any laws. The first one for sure, and probably the third one, were violations of the law and constitutional norms.
But whether or not they were, anyone who doesn't immediately see all of them as a fundamental upheaval of democratic norms is a danger to American self-rule. Someone who green-lights ads like this in Soviet Russia is a paper-pusher. Someone who green-lights ads like this in America should be executed.

Uh, no. All the reasons we should have harsher punishments for public corruption are also reasons we should not criminally punish officials for bad policy.

Biden's border policy wasn't corrupt. It wasn't done to pad his bank account or get some benefit for himself. Trump's list of actions that have padded his wallet or been used to go after his personal enemies is extremely long.
