Moderate, smart, international relations experience...and this last one I think might be starting to become more important by the day... extensive military and/or intelligence leadership experience. Don't care what party that person would be from. The meetings in China with China, Russia, and North Korea... give off very ominous vibes, to me. And we have a President that's sounding off like a paranoid teenage girl about it. Kinda like I am here...but he's the POTUS, with millions listening to his every word. I can't even get a gold badge on an IU fan forum. A pre Trump version of JD Vance maybe? I'd even consider a retired military General or Admiral. You spend your first term, and the first year of your second term pissing off pretty much the entire rest of the world, blowing up longstanding alliances... when an Axis appears to be forming, not a lot of warm and fuzzy feelings with our current Dipshit In Chief. Wouldn't have felt great with Harris either, obviously, but at least we might have a few legit allies to help us out. 2028 can't get here fast enough for me.

Our next president needs to be a likable leader who can deal with stress and control impulses along with being respectful to political opponents.

Personality traits and experience more important than party affiliation.
