We don’t know what lie Acton told about Vivek, at least I haven’t been able to find it.
Maybe you shouldn't have posted what you posted if you aren't able to find it. Then again, the rest of your post is defending the indefensible, so maybe lack of facts to back up what you post doesn't matter to you.
I almost forgot just how insufferable Vivek Ramaswamy was during the Republican primaries. I hope November 3 is the end of his political career.
1. She wasn't a teen.Jettison the entire political class into the sun. Sortition, please.
Absolutely!
The ad is in response to a lie Acton told about Vivek and his family, not about Acton’s childhood sexual abuse. We don’t know what lie Acton told about Vivek, at least I haven’t been able to find it. We do know Acton successfully turned that ad into sympathy for her, and to her political advantage, by bringing up again her life as a youngster. Give the media an assist on this one. Republicans don’t have a chance.
Incidentally, teenage girls false accusations of sexual abuse made in order to break up adult relationships happen and are well documented. I had a very good friend who got caught up in that and he then left Colorado . I’m not saying that’s what happened here, but it is a problem.
2. There is no proof that happened here re false allegations, but you brought it up in this context, and then say the ad is "not about Acton's childhood sexual abuse." So . . . bullshit. You're being intentionally obtuse if you can't read between the lines on what the mom was saying in that commercial.
3. Run against her on the issues. On her unfitness based on conduct. It's lower than low to drudge up her ancient mom who abandoned her at 12 to be with her molester and have her accuse the victim of sexual abuse of lying.
I just saw the ad with Amy Acton's mom in it again last night. You'd think with all the push back on this they would have pulled it. Maybe they're just letting their ad buy play out, I don't know. I was surprised to still see it running last night.
Good to see some Republicans do the right thing and criticize Ramaswamy for running that ad. Even the Governor, who endorsed Rmaswamy, called for the ad to be pulled immediately. Ramaswamy must not be as smart as was thought if he thinks that ad is helping him.
I remember when the current Virginia AG said he wanted to murder his opponents children. You didn't hear a peep from the Dems just full support.
First, this isn't a typical family relations beef--putting a mom out there to essentially call her daughter a liar that she was sexually molested at the age of 12. That's the implication behind the ad. And it is repulsive.
I don’t agree that is the implication from the ad. The triggering event for the ad is what the mom said, Acton lied about her opponent. Nobody has explained that.
@ohio-guy he's pro mass migration and I don't live in Ohio. I won't shed any tears if he loses and his career is over.
That bitch of a mother hasn’t even talked to her daughter for 48 years, since her husband was about to go to trial for raping her daughter. She lost custody of her daughter and son, who also was abused. The bitch mother and her husband fled the state. She backed her rapist husband over her children.Jettison the entire political class into the sun. Sortition, please.
Absolutely!

Yet you defend the bitch mother and Ramaswamy for the ad. Incredibly disappointing.
I can't help you, then.First, this isn't a typical family relations beef--putting a mom out there to essentially call her daughter a liar that she was sexually molested at the age of 12. That's the implication behind the ad. And it is repulsive.
I don’t agree that is the implication from the ad.
As long as you remember the purpose of the media is to make democrats look sympathetic and good, and make republicans look the opposite, you’ll understand how news coverage works.
Acton lied about her opponent.
If you do not know what the lie is, how do you know there is a lie? If you are the lawyer you claim to be, could you imagine your cross after a witness says that on the stand?
Ramaswamy ran this ad. Acton didn't need any help from the media at all.As long as you remember the purpose of the media is to make democrats look sympathetic and good, and make republicans look the opposite, you’ll understand how news coverage works.
Hell, there are links all over the place amplifying Acton’s sad memories about sexual abuse. Mom never mentioned any of that.
