@bulk-vh is correct, Sammy. There's a moderator here without a badge. He has demonstrated time and again that he's unable to control himself. As long as he's here shouting down dissenting views, repeatedly attacking posters, hijacking threads that he doesn't like and picking fights every day, it won't matter who has the badge. It will continue to be a shit show and more people will drop off.

No worries. I'm a problem solver. The next person who emails a complaint about another poster, ban them. They won't do it again.

Unsolicited advice: do very little. You can't really punish people for being bad posters. Lots of people are bad posters. You can't really punish people for being rude. It's politics. People will be rude sometimes, even if they don't want to. You can't really punish people for going personal. If you want to attack me for not taking care of my lawn, or McM for lying about his age for years like a sociopath, well, we have that coming, because we are the ones that brought up those personal aspects of our lives.
If someone really goes on a bender and starts legitimately harassing another poster. If someone, say, contacts a poster outside of the forum, or worse, contact's a poster's family, friends, job, etc. Then we have a serious problem that you might want to make partly yours, because it will eventually run the good posters away, and that's bad for business.
Otherwise, I'd just let people do what they do, and keep collecting the auto-renew membership fees.

@goat Fair enough. That's kind of what I have been doing and people come to me with concerns. I can just tell them to calm down and talk a walk and come back after that. I would like to have some people to keep a closer eye on things as well to make sure nothing is too over the top
