I ran 12 to 15 miles a week during my military career. New Balance were by far the best shoes I found for running and working out in general. Ohtani, probably the best player in baseball wears them. Goff, hot tennis player, wears them. Cooper Flagg wears them. So do tons of track stars. They're excellent athletic shoes.

@aloha-hoosier I just bought those for everyday wear. I have a couple of pairs of Hoka Speedgoats for hiking and backpacking. I can't run anymore because of my back problems, so it's just walking speeds for me.

Strictly Kiziks for me now. Gave up my Apex ski boots, dedicated clip-in bicycle shoes and hiking boots within the last few years. Now I have dedicated dog-walkers. At least I’m still vertical.
About halfway through a subdural hematoma recovery. Been given the all clear to resume driving today after three months. Gettin’ old is a bitch but beats the alternative. .
@co-hoosier I still have a couple of pairs of boots I wear when I hunt, but everything else is a trail runner. I'm not doing anything out west in the skree anymore, so I just try to be comfortable.
