I literally just got this text thirty seconds ago:
"I'M SO EXCITED DAD!"
has me tearing up. this is her first big thing
@bradstevens and of course it's going to be rainy i guess. eh the best memories are made in the rain
I have core memories from Lollapalooza in the rain. One of the coolest shows I’ve ever been to.

At least you have the cougs rolling along. My parents and friends parents would let us roll alone in High School which I’m not sure I’d allow for my kids. 17 year olds shouldn’t be doing molly and drinking a dozen Bud light limes.
@carramrod oh that's fantastic! these kids are so sheltered today. when we turned sixteen we'd drive to colorado and ski and sleep in the car in the parking lot of the resort. no cell phones. nothing. drinking fing purple passion and the beast. that we stole! bombed. these kids don't really drink at all. party nothing like the older generations. maybe into weed, the ones that are a bit older, and that's it. very different times.

Higher-ups in the alcohol industry are actually really worried about this.
@bar-down the lack of underage drinking and tobacco use is a public health crisis I’ve been highlighting for sometime. As you point out weed guys (and gals) are the worst. A generation full of TMP’s, could you imagine?
I would like to see RFK etc. address it. Perhaps a provision in the SAVE Act that provides for fake ID’s if the minor sends in a legitimate tip on an illegal aliens whereabouts.

In high school in the early 70s I lived equidistant from Indy, Cincy, and L'ville. We went to a concert damn near every weekend. Stayed away from the alcohol, but the ditch weed was plentiful.

Don't worry, my oldest has definitely made up for those that are missing out. My middle, I fear, isn't far behind.
@boogie I went through the list of bands playing at lollapalooza yesterday. I knew two
I just walked to the train and it’s starting to rain. Saw lots of scantily clad young ladies on their way to the orgy.@bradstevens and of course it's going to be rainy i guess. eh the best memories are made in the rain

You wish you were like me. That's half of your problem like the rest of MAGA. You've never had a woman love you, never pleased a woman, no real friends, no real wealth, no talent, no skills, no respect from others. You're the fat ass ugly dork no one has ever paid any attention to. It's no wonder you're perpetually malcontent and hate yourself ...
and in closing ..
lmao ..
