So US NWR has Kelley in Top 10, this site has them #23. Thoughts from you bschool heathens? My daughter might become one of you and will have a decision to make here in the upcoming months. My read is that it isn't worth it to pay more for IU biz over UI, which is ranked higher here, other than for feelz:

Kelley’s real value is job placement. They do a great job of bringing desirable employers on campus for info. sessions and interviews. You would have to actively work not to have a job within a couple months of graduation.
Especially if she ever wanted to work for a Big 4. EY, PwC, Deloitte, KPMG carpet the B-School campus. (I’m sure you would hate this)
I suspect U of I might be similarly good, idk.

IU Law in Bloomington did a good interviews/placement. Put me in WAY over my raising.
Gies is not on par with Kelley.
Based on what criteria? P&G has them on par--Gies actually ranked higher due to more rigorous selection criteria for admits. Very similar in student experiences and career outcomes.Gies is not on par with Kelley.
Any of them weld?
If men were any more stupid, we would have breed for the extinction of women. Proof yet again that WE are the best thing they have going for them.

Alumni network, placement/the workshops
Gies is better for analytics and accounting, I guess.
@bradstevens will she be eligible for any type of scholarship money? We had tons of girls in the house from Chicago and several of them said IU offered them more scholarship $ than Illinois. No idea if that's the norm or not.
Well yes, but it doesn't move the needle that much since IU's OOS COA is over $60k a year now.@bradstevens will she be eligible for any type of scholarship money? that is skewing P&Q. You know as well as I do that U of I had long been a much more difficult school to get into because if supply/demand and quality of Chicagoland applicants.
Kelley is the better school. Now, for the average corporate job or even accounting or consulting job, that probably doesn’t matter a ton.
If she is trying to go into high finance, IU has a much larger network, more disciplined prep and training, and better recruiting.
it ultimately comes down to what she wants to do, but she’ll have opportunities at either
