@bar-down What prosecution? The state ones were partisan. Smith's weren't. Garland wasn't even planning to do anything about the election interference. Trump refusing to return highly classified documents forced his hand and he appointed Smith for that.

I know you never bother to read the hearing transcripts but he explained in detail in the closed House hearing why he did what he did and how he followed the law and DoD policy. Until you read the transcripts and Smith’s report there’s no need to continue the discussion. Your knowledge of it is superficial and/or misinformed.
