Scott Adams may have a point. Stay away from them. Don’t live in neighborhoods with a lot of them. Avoid public transit if you can. Don’t frequent places they like to frequent. If you see a suspicious one coming towards you cross the street. If a suspicious one gets on your elevator, get off the elevator.
The pain you will feel for harboring prejudice is a small price to pay for your life.
