Yes. Trump claimed the U.S. knew nothing about the attack in advance. Three Israeli officials, however, told The New York Times the strike was coordinated with the Trump administration in advance.
Trump and his team are trying hard to sell this war to the American people but the messy, mixed messaging isn't helping. Polling suggests that buy-ins are mostly limited to MAGA and American Jews.

I did not say act unilaterally. That does not answer if we "knew" of the attack. The NYT article says Israeli officials said the US "knew".
