Yabutt the Hadley circulation.  

The suppressed tropical storm activity in the Atlantic Basin this season is a function of the Super El Nino. 

I have no idea what the "Hadley circulation" is, how or if it's relevant, or what point(s) you're trying to make.  

This is great news, but it's strange that the White House is taking credit for it. 

Kim Jung Un has to be tired of them stealing his bit. 

@big-ryan there are causes of el Nono and the causes of the El Niño causes.  The atmosphere is complicated.  It all starts with cow farts.  

I suspect we will have a massive hurricane in late October.

No scientific data to back that up, just an assumption on my part since I will be vacationing in Ft. Lauderdale around that time.

Plus, the highest frequency ever recorded of Saharan dust storms crossing the Atlantic. These have caused at least half a dozen tropical waves to dissipate. The Pacific has been pretty busy. Hawaii hit twice in the past 3 weeks, Big Island first and Kauai 2nd.
