The right amount of illegal immigration is zero. Those here illegally should be deported to their home country. However, I'm against treating American citizens and veterans like criminals and depriving them of their rights when they're caught up in an immigrant raid like this veteran was:

Per those numbers, Biden's detentions were 30.4% people with no criminal record, and Trumps' were 46.2% with no criminal record. So you have a point.
@unclemark You are not reading it right. They have rounded up 700 illegals that have either have committed or likely committed crimes besides illegally crossing the border. That's 700 less opportunities for someone to be victimized.
But also think of this: if Biden had controlled the border over his 4 years, and let in virtually zero, like Trump has, then that $170B for ICE could be spent on the USCIS (an ~ 1B budget) to increase/improve LEGAL immigration processing.
If this article is accurate, I fully support raids like this one. Roll up gangs of illegal immigrants and deport them. Even better would be trying them in their home countries after they get home.
