Don't confuse Ernie Pyle with POTUS Pile
"You can't make someone listen to reason if they aren't willing to think"-- Ray Bradbury, Fahrenheit 451
Other than giving up and coming sports writers a chance to cover IU beats...things been pretty repetitively useless since we moved here. Recycled, partisan TDS stories over and over. Atlantic-level crying.
"Black Voices" (added in 2020, of course) was the best. Kinda wish they were still trying that angle. Think it's kinda fizzled like most associated with the woke movement.
The old site was leaking pretty badly, as the same 3-4 nimrods whinged their days away.
The entire astroturfed fraud called 'no kings' has triggered a couple of the truly repugnant to spout massive lies and have exposed themselves once again.

That said...pretty impartial summary here of last night's event.
Didn't know the line on the north side (students) ran all the way up to 7th Street.
I don't really have a strong opinion on this one, but post this here as additional information.
Pretty simple...
- IDS is funded by Indiana University
- Indiana University administration asks university staff employee who acts as IDS chaperone to be more impartial in the stories published.
- Employee refuses...he's a shitlib
- Also refuses to cut political shit out of Homecoming print edition
- University fires employee
- University eliminates loss leading "print" edition as well
- IDS continues online, hopefully/apparently under more "balanced" stewardship
Shitlibs bitch about "censorship" simply because their beloved, partisan chaperone got axed, and somehow roll the IU's elimination of a free, school-subsidized print edition into the claim.
Was the IDS pro-Hamas?
IF the advisor was fired for not giving more “impartial” treatment in the IDS, that would be a big problem.Pretty simple...

I haven’t seen anything suggesting that’s true, though. Maybe I missed it?
Beep...beep...beep...beep...
.

I'm assuming you don't read the IDS?
No big deal, either way. Basically devolved into a training rag for shitlibbery for the last 10 years or so. No loss.
I assumed there was just never a conservative voice that wanted to waste their time to contribute...but sounds like anything right of moderate was snuffed out by the hippie running the show.
Thus...the unprofitable rag that relies on school funding, but cries when school explains unchecked shitlibbery doesn't pay the bills, gets chopped.
Whatever.
@yothn They can publish whatever the hell they want to publish. Online. These are just immature, emotionally unstable people throwing a temper tantrum.
"You can worship however you want, you're just not allowed to go to church to do it!"
That would go over well.
Other than in areas of safety, I'm a pretty staunch defender of our Constitutional rights and it's disappointing how many people easily want to give those away because they don't agree with what someone wants to do with those rights.
