@jdb It doesn't matter. Alaska uses ranked choice voting, so there are only three possibilities:
1. Peltola or Sullivan could have scored 50% and won outright, in which case Fake Dan would have been irrelevant.
2. The ruse worked, and Sullivan voters ranked the Sullivans in the wrong order, which means on the instant recount, Fake Dan's votes will go to Real Dan, and he'll win because he was genuinely the most popular.
3. The ruse didn't work, and the Fake Dan voters are all Dem trolls who ranked Peltola #2 because they thought it would be funny, and she'll win on the recount, because she was genuinely the most popular.
#1 didn't happen. Either #2 or #3 will happen, and either way, the victory will end up going to the person who would have won if Fake Dan hadn't been on the ballot. It's all meaningless.
(For the record, my prediction is #2 - the ruse worked, but all those Fake Dan voters picked Real Dan as #2, and he'll win.)
