Pretty much anyone was going to be a step down from DeSantis. Donalds is for limited government and as long as he maintains that approach he will be fine

He's black so according to the bigot republicans, that must mean it is a DEI hire because obviously a minority couldn't be chosen based on merit.

based on what? be specific. desantis has been an excellent governor. fiscally etc. he has real problems unique to the state with rising insurance costs but has done what is within his power to make the state still appealing to carriers with comprehensive tort reform from pure to modified comparative, bad faith reforms, and shortening the sol. things i'm not a fan of but you have to make some sacrifices i guess. he's also created an extremely business friendly environment, attracting financial firms from nyc and calif.
so what is it specifically you don't like?
