The Truther nonsense wasn't close to being as prevalent as the MAGA stupidity since social media was barely a thing then.

It was very prevalent.

It wasn't 30% of the Democratic Party.  Come on.

My incredulity was wrong, Aloha.  Holy shit, we're screwed as a country:

Recent polls indicate that roughly one in five Americans (20%) believe the government was behind the 9/11 attacks. Other recent data suggests that around one in six Americans (about 16%) specifically believe Bush administration officials knew about the attacks and intentionally allowed them to happen to justify war.
Older polls from the mid-2000s showed a higher percentage of Americans holding such beliefs:
  • A July 2006 Scripps-Howard poll found that 36% of respondents thought it "very" or "somewhat likely" that federal officials participated in or failed to stop the attacks to facilitate war in the Middle East.
  • A 2011 poll found that 15% of Americans questioned believed the U.S. government was responsible.

I wouldn't be that surprised with those numbers. Around 16% of the population have IQs of 85 or lower.

95 percent of those are currently MAGA. 20 years ago it was 95 percent of them would have been moonbats. It’s a shifty bunch of morons.

@bradstevens THAT surprises you?  Oh honey.   6 percent of men think they can defeat a grizzly bear in hand to hand combat.

Not at all. That's why we offer them money to return to their homeland.  Grace even when they're breaking laws.  That's one of MAGA's mottos😇

Having a Gestapo is good, so long as it's YOUR Gestapo.

Another MAGA motto.

If you repent and ask for forgiveness we might let you join MAGA.  You would start out at the bottom, but with some hard work and luck you could probably sit at the adults table at some point.

Every day there’s a new and unprecedented outrage. Our DOJ has never been weaponized like it is now. Not even close.

So we just sold a lot of anti-air missiles to Denmark. I wonder, what Danish territory is at risk of air assault?

1.5 Trillion.  It was originally 1 trillion.

He's going the wrong way.

Gotta fill the pockets of the MIC many of whom feel entitled to riches because of their service, like our own “multimillionaire” Aloha.

Another thing MAGA voted for was continuing to destroy the deficit.  I remember not that long ago when MAGA pretended to care about the deficit.  Shocking how many topics they flip flop on in service of their dear leader.

I've never been POTUS, but wouldn't it have been smart to check on the legality of his moves prior to making them, instead of charging full ahead, then blaming the SCOTUS if they burst his bubble?

It's almost as if he is in significant cognitive decline and the rest of the Republican party is covering up this fact.....
