@larsiu to be clear I personally don't think that's going to happen. I'm just explaining why turning over 50% of AI to the government is a bad idea.
I too am leary of our federal government in its current form. However, many nations treat their natural resources as sovereign wealth. Maybe that's the route AI goes.
Saw an interview today with Alex Karp (CEO of Palantir)... He believes that much of AI will end up nationalized.
But I'm also having trouble seeing how tokens don't become a commodity once open source models become prevalent, so have investor concerns that the monetization is troublesome medium term.
How the revolution impacts the working class is impossible to say. But the industrial revolution certainly wasn't a positive for the worker, at least not for many decades.
