The swag vendors set up shop a couple days ago on a couple corners. Hats and tee shirts with "Freedom" imprints. Signage says We Love Charlie Kirk.

We got here at 5pm...southside of the Auditorium before the steps.
Line goes all the way around the DG house, and then back through campus.

Thirty or so years ago he came across as a younger, hipper George Will, bow tie and all. I thought he had a future as a serious thought leader. Boy was I wrong.

Back to Kirk. The killer faces state prosecution and the state is seeking the death penalty. Meanwhile the DoJ is considering some novel federal charge. WHY? They should let the state take care of this. This DoJ has proven it's a bumbling clownish mess under Pam Bondi's leadership and they don't need to screw up another case.
