Not a broken ankle, but I got a wicked blister about a month ago up in Minnesota hiking the SHT. Hot spot on day 2 and like a numbnut dumbass, I ignored it instead of stopping to take care of it. Next 3 days sucked ballz.
Hope is not optimism, which expects things to turn out well, but something rooted in the conviction that there is good worth working for. - Seamus Heaney, Irish poet and likely Hoosier basketball fan.

@hooky ohhhhhh that’s miserable!!!!!
It was horrible for about 2 weeks. Would scab over, then crack again and start seeping. But now it's got that new skin smell I enjoy so much. Smooth as a baby's bottom.
