Kinda agree. The gold portrait frames, and gold dust collectors from the WH vault are over the top. I kinda like the gold white color combo in general.
This week was the WH Christmas party. Followed shortly thereafter by the WH Christmas party. And this coming week by a few more WH Xmas parties.

To be honest, I don't have a problem with that. Outside of the Pentagon, the White House should technically be the most secure building in the nation. I don't want to be able to go online and be able to find blueprints / details of this construction with the intent to find blindspots in security.

Having these "big room" banquets at 3rd party sourced venues comes at a risk. Why not bring them "in house" to a more secure venue?

In looking at the lawsuit it appears no one is demanding blueprints. You can read their views at the site below. Did they get permitting to tear down the old building? Did they get permitting for the new building. They claim all property is controlled by Congress, did Congress approve this?
