It's kind of amazing how many accounts are based offshore when you start looking at college sports and entertainment posts. Can't imagine it's much different if you started poking around on some of those types of posts too.

50% of accounts on the internet are bots. It's over half. Dead internet theory is a real thing. Guy theorized it's a hockey stick with AI and that 99% saturation will happen.
41% of longform posts (over 250 characters) on LinkedIn are AI written.
People didn't think they wanted nuclear energy but when faced with the truth (it's cheaper, cleaner, and more reliable than traditional power generation like coal or natural gas and way more efficient than renewables), people's attitudes changed. The same will happen with data centers b/c they are going to be a necessary part of the economy moving forward.
People don’t understand how much data we produce and store every hour of every day.
Is it actual "production of data", or the simple transfer of existing data from our brains into a digital matrix type storage? We've simply made it more portable. Right?
Tantrums don't change outcomes
Losing is part of life. Sometimes the answer is simply NO.
Yeah, it's a lib book talking point, but who thinks we don't need more:
1. Power
2. AI infrastructure
3. Housing
4.
How many candidates in 2028 will run on this? Broadly, I'd imagine two solutions will be proposed: (1) suspend or eliminate a lot of regulations or red tape and let the market decide, or (2) have govt actively subsidize and centrally plan some of this stuff.
Is there a compromise solution?
I'm still waiting for my life of abundance. Wake me when it happens. Also, in a world of abundance scare assets become more desirable.

Long term, probably need school indoctrination. I won't hold my breath.
Our fifth-grade teacher has a signature with pronouns and "Living on Dakota Land". And we're not even in MPS. There is no chance public school teachers will ever acknowledge the pros of data centers.
These blatant data center oppositions are ridiculous. There is a one on the east side of Indy, in a brownfield area that hasn't seen any economic activity for 40 years. Long ago a Ford plant or something. And the neighbors are losing their mind in opposing it. You'd think it was a nuclear waste dump. Some moron was posting saying they want to use our "clean air" for the data center. WTF?

You're a bot, aren't you?
That would check out. He did just win being a mod.
