Mossadegh wasn't an Islamist. If we would have worked with his regime instead of overthrowing it, it's very possible, probably likely, that the Islamic Republic never would have happened. From that POV, it's our fault the current incarnation of Iran even exists.

No, but it gave a number of Iranians a hatred of the Shah and the West. That created a tinderbox that Khomeini lit.
It isn't far off from the string of horrible governments we saddled South Vietnam with. It created a situation where many thought anything has to be better. I suspect many thought they could control Khomeini. Many Germans thought they could control Hitler, Russians Lenin.

This is hardly “hindsight” and explains (not justifies) Iranian geopolitics from 1979 to today.
Israel is doing nothing to remedy the Transfer and doesn’t even acknowledge the Transfer officially. I’m guessing you don’t either.

"Release the unredacted files that implicate Saudi Arabia while what's left of the victims' families are still alive to see it." Might be tough for Trump to comply, though, given his and Kushner's closeness with MBS, and all the Saudi money that's come their way.

DHS was created after 9/11 and I was a supporter of the idea of putting many of these agencies into one organization. I don't think we got it right though. From the beginning I wasn't a supporter of making all the TSA agents government workers. I think, and still do, that this should be contracted out and we should look at who pays for them. Airports and Airline make more sense to me - though of course that means we'd still be paying for them via higher ticket prices. It's probably time to analyze DHS and make changes.

I remember where I was at mentally, 25 years ago, at this exact time. Vlad Tepes would have been abhorred by the monstrosities I was calling to befall anywhere a follower of Mohammad was found. 25 years later, I think the main failure of the War on Terror and Bush in general was the whole "Islam is a religion of peace" nonsense.
9/11/01 should have kicked off the final Crusade. My position every subsequent 9/11 has grown ever more strident on that initial reaction that first evening after shock and sadness had metastisized into righteous fury. The fact New Yorkers elected the Mayor they did is a stain on them and that city. That giggling piece of shit today.....
I haven't heard much from 9/11 Truthers (9/11 conspiracy theorists) but they've been all over Facebook yesterday and today still pushing the same ridiculously stupid theories. Many of them are moonbats rather than wingnuts. At least there's that.
