yeah futsal on a basketball hard court is no bueno. I gave up on indoor because those fields were turning into glorified 30 y/o astroturf on concrete. my knees are barely holding on.
I swing kettlebells now, play disc golf, may join an old man basketball league.
as a side note. Kettlebell people are weird. Like, weird.
A good friend of mine is in an old man basketball league in Seattle. He said he likes it. Fast breaks aren't allowed.
I've thought about getting back into basketball. But the last time I was playing regularly I hyperextended my knee. I thought I tore something. Luckily I didn't, but the thought of being laid up for a year or so rehabbing a knee or ankle injury doesn't sound like fun. I'm currently running around 30 miles a week. Knock on wood, no real injuries outside of a nagging case of achilles tendonitis that comes and goes.
This the kettlebell thread now.Given the title, this thread should be shuttered. Less. Soccer. Please.

This guy's not bad. I encourage you consider it. Super easy. Don't need a ton of equipment. Start with 16kg or 20kg bells. I do 30 mins EMOM at 20kg 2-3x a week depending on time. Mix in cardio. Your legs will be on fire for the first two weeks.
You're welcome.
@larsiu Joe Rogan is obsessed with kettle. As for legs I’ve never done legs.

@larsiu yup. Honestly I’m still strong af. It’s my cardio that left the building. I wonder if that’s a biological thing. Just goes faster.
