We don't have a track&field forum yet, so I'll dump this year, but high schooler Cooper Lutkenhaus, just short of his 17th birthday, turned on the afterburners in the 800 to come in runner up and earn a spot in the world championships. The announcers were so unprepared, they didn't even know his name. They just called him "the high schooler." LOL.
