I agree we need more posts on this forum.  I go back with WBB since coach FLJ (if you don’t know who that is, she came before Miller).  Coach TM has accomplished great things at IU but her recruiting is filled with many head scratching recruits over the years leaving roster holes which seemed difficult to understand.  I believe that after last season she realized that she could not continue winning with only offense.  It looks to me that she went with strength in the front court and speed in the backcourt for 2025, I hope she will be successful.

I am hoping the new coach in charge of recuiting is an upgrade from the last one.  Still too early to tell.  CTM seem to be great with Xs and Os,  but needs to pickup her connections with the Jimmy's and Joe's.

Sorry, but just winning with offense???

Teri is a defense first coach. That’s a head scratching comment IMO

@gros-louis Her first team had me afraid. Our offense was non-existent; they dribbled and passed it until the shot clock, unless Tyra could make a desperate drive and get fouled. Of course they largely weren't her players. But she has opened up the offense since she learned to appreciate the three. It is great to see a coach reevaluate. She may be defensive first, but unlike someone like Miller when he was men's coach, she didn't view having an offense as the enemy of having a defense.
