Halftime Thoughts

Indiana leads Hanover 6–0 at the half, and the Hoosiers have been creating chances just about every way possible. Bennett Painter got things started off an early corner, and IU has continued finding runners behind Hanover’s defense and earning dangerous free kicks around the box. Oliver Moller-Jensen helped set the tone with two assists and a free-kick goal, but Collins Oduro has been the biggest story. He has a first-half hat trick, with his last two goals coming just 26 seconds apart on assists from Jacopo Fedrizzi. Oduro’s speed and touches around defenders have been too much for Hanover to handle. The Panthers had a couple of promising moments getting forward early, but IU shut those down before they turned into shots. A pretty ideal start to Senior Night.
