I am really excited for this personally. A longer season will attract better talent to colleges and, thus, the US. This could be another lever that grows soccer in the United States and I'm all for it. Hopefully IU gets some studs who would otherwise go elsewhere (another league I mean), but now that the season is longer chooses us instead.
Plus, I am sure we could pay more as well.
