The black kits can go away. We're not Louisville. We're not Ball State. We're not Purdue. It's just insanely dumb marketing/branding for a team whose chief rival is black to be using black.
Good performance for the Hoosiers. Although giving 2 back with 35mins to go was a little unsettling.

I quite like them actually. I love when Indiana sports adopt a black uniform and honestly, I love when any team across the country adopts a black uniform. I think 99% of the time they look incredibly slick. Just because Cream and Crimson are our colors doesn't mean we can't experiment every now and again - I dig it personally!

I gathered that based on the story you did. If our chief rival wasn't black...I'd be less butt hurt about it. But either way, for a school that has struggled to have a unified brand and identity for decades and finally got a pretty good grasp on their marks and colors over the previous 15-20 years, it's just stupidity.
I watched the highlights of the Kentucky match. Noticed a new goalkeeper. I'm not an expert, but the transfer keeper was out of place quite a bit. Defense could have been an issue, but good decision to try someone fresh. We have no problem with OOC opponents. Hope this is the start of a solid conference finish like last year.

I don't have any inside info on this, but I'd be shocked if Holden not playing last night had ANYTHING to do with performance. Several depth players got minutes last night. And Brown has been really good.
You're probably accurate re. Brown's performance, and a good idea by Yeagley to provide minutes for the frosh keeper. A good win to boost their RPI,
