Moved up to 21 after today's Marquette win, right behind Baylor at 20.

Marquette drops to the low 60s.

I know, I know lots of variability in the early season that will iron itself in early Jan.

Up to 17 now (projected 12-8). 25 in Torvik.

Still too early to put much stock in it but its a nice early starting point.

CDD doing a good job on margin of victory.  Will help with the NET and stuff like that.  Under our previous regime we always shot ourselves in the foot early on with the metrics.

@tammany Yes, absolutely! Bigfoot was the worst resume/metrics coach alive.

Squeek by 250+ rated cupcakes and get obliterated by 15+ against any top teams neutral or away.

1/100th of a point behind Wisconsin at 16.

Very good bet we get passed by Alabama tonight though after their blowout win.

@middawg Nah... November Natty on the way!  Unless Bama decides to gameplan for them and attack their guards on both ends of the floor.  Then yeah, you might be right.

Nice to not be a bubble team from October - March.

@iunorth Not a normal PU November looking team. They don't look right without TKR. Guess he's supposed to play tonight, but it might still take him some time. Thinking they'll go down.

@kkott If it was March, they for sure would.  If Bama just rolls the ball out there, and allows Smith to dribble around and pick them apart, Purdue might win.

@iunorth

You were on the mark, I didn't envision Purdue would play their A+ game.

I will never understand high level coaches using so little creativity in their  game planning to slow down Purdue offensively by amping up pressure and tempo, and to get the ball out of Smith's and TKR's hands at all costs.

  If you lose because a collection of Purdue unathletic role players beat you, then so be it, which would be my game planning philosophy.

Purdue's game plan to collapse their defense into the paint to help their rebounding and allow 44 mostly wide open three point attempts, where Bama only hit 36%, I found curious that it worked.

Painter owns Oats.
