Never the perfect victory but this one was pretty darn good. A win over a quality opponent at a neutral site, 14 of 28 three-pointers, and an amazing 8 to 27 turnover to assist ratio.
The last win IU bball had pre B10 like this? We are normally on the short end of a work in progress. Good win.
At least this rebuild isn't as far behind as Shaka Smart's. Yikes. I assume Marquette is behind the Jesuit NIL progress.
27 assists to 8 turnovers. Have to love that. If woody we're coaching today it would've been flipped
Again, it's rout, not route. LOL.
Maybe they were implying a route to a postseason tournament?
Hope is not optimism, which expects things to turn out well, but something rooted in the conviction that there is good worth working for. - Seamus Heaney, Irish poet and likely Hoosier basketball fan.

Maybe. It's more likely it's just one of those pesky little spelling things that trip a lot of people up and I'm just the nit-picky anal retentive bastard they need to point it out.
@hoosiers94 20-24 free throws as well, good to see that aspect of the game being taken seriously again. It won't get you on a highlight reel but those points are as good as any others.
I'd argue IU got over The Hump the moment Woody signed his "retirement" papers.
@bigmike also 83% on FTs, and this might've been the poorest FT % so far in exhibitions/games. Think I heard this is also the first time a Shaka Smart team has given up 100 pts, which spans a lot of years and teams. Great performance. Let's get healthy!
@kkott Total of 70-84 on free-throws (about 83%) in games starting with Marian. The Marian game was poor, they went 14-23 but since then very good to perfect. Excluding the Marian game we are shooting about 92% from the line.
