@scam-likely makes it a lot easier to go up in defense efficiency when they can’t hit the broad side of a barn. If we leave KSU that open they will hang a 100 on us.
Maybe, maybe not.
We'll see...
@iureactionary Tomorrow's game is going to be pretty interesting.
1. Is CDD willing and able to adjust things this early in the year based off opponents?
2. If so, how does he adjust his defense against a team like KState? We've been pretty bad with our rotations. One of our problems guarding the post and rebounding the post, is our hedge, dig, double efforts have been really, really bad. We're leaving people too open, and then having to over rotate, and that's hurting our rebounding positioning. Our size obviously doesn't help with that, and Bailey needs to man up without question. But the help and rotations from everyone else have been pretty bad. KState will have the ability to exploit that if CDD doesn't get them playing better, and/or doesn't have some sort of improved approach.
3. Will the beautiful, and effective, ball and player movement come back tomorrow? Did we actually have great movement the first 3 games, or did we just make more shots? We've missed a lot of wide open looks the last 2 games. Those games look completely different if we hit even only 3-4 more threes.
This has the look and feel of a game with both teams well in to the 80s, even 90s. Doesn't look like Vegas has set any lines yet...which seems weird the day before the game. Wonder if there's any sort of major roster shake up reasons for that?
