@the-leal-deal  lol you have never talked to anyone in the AD.  But keep hanging on my nuts and making screen names for me.  It’s cute.

Worked there for ten years and have fairly regular conversations with multiple people within those walls.  But go on being a clown.

@hooky his best attribute is between the ears. That’s why he excelled at Mizzu and got a two way contract in the nba when everyone said he would never make it.  Not his fault woody sucked.

You like the guy, we get it.  But to say his best attribute is his basketball IQ, and that he excelled on a couple of Mizzou teams that won a total of 10 league games in the 2 seasons he was there, is pretty funny.

Maybe he'll go on to have a long, fruitful NBA career that's better than Langford's.  Maybe I'll win the lottery.  Anything is possible.  It's the probabilities that matter, though.

@hooky from going from the worst team in the league to making the tourney under his leadership is pretty damn good. His coach sure gave him credit.  Again everyone said he was junk and no chance of making the nba.  He already proved that wrong.

Not really my place to out their opinions of you, but at least one that I speak with most frequently has 'Athletic Director' as part of their title.  And it's not Scott.  I exchange pleasantries with him, but we don't 'talk'.

Although to your benefit, some of those that don't like you aren't there any longer, but they made their feelings known to others who still are there.

I'll leave it at that for now.  Again, not my place to say things that were told to me by people who, for whatever reason, might not say it to your face. But the eye rolls and 'creepy' comments I've gotten from a few people suggest they're not isolated opinions.

@the-leal-deal For what its worth... I don't need sources or really any inside info to know that there are people associated with IU basketball that would dislike, be annoyed by, whatever, by Cav.  But I don't think that's necessarily a knock on Cav.  Athletic departments are often full of people collecting pay checks, that are great at looking down on people outside their walls.

I agree. I wouldn't think any of them would care to see too much of the what is posted here. It's critiquing their product mostly. But it happens no matter what job you do. So they should get over it.  As far as Cav , I don't have an issue with his opinions. Sometimes I agree sometimes I don't.  Like his assessment of Scoop.  Don't see what he sees.  But it's his opinion,  it's out there but I guess we will see what happens with Scoop real soon.

MBB (former staff) was a given.

From what I gather, the non-MBB people have no idea his BS on this board. It's more about personal interactions or reputation earned with people who have/had personal interactions.

@the-leal-deal  buddy the AD doesn’t read this board, and if they do they are nobody’s like you.  The only one that knows me is Jeremy gray and I doubt he would talk shit about me.  My sister was involved in his engagement.

who are you? You arent even man enough to post your name? How about you out yourself or stop making shit up.

@the-leal-deal you are so full of shit.  I have had no unpleasant interactions with anyone.  I spend a lot with IU and you are making all this up.  I’ve never had a bad interaction with anyone.  Me and the former IU staff other than woody were very friendly. I loved Kenya and Ya and Walsh. Hell Jordy I’ve known for years.   So now I know you’re making shit up

I like what I've seen so far from this team especially in relation to the coach already has system in place and a team that seems to play smart and execute what he coaches.  They don't need to run and jump out of the gym to be good.  Most those guys are head cases anyway.

I like offense with shooters and back cuts.   The rout to a tournament berth seem within reach whether they match up with the big boys or not.  Let's see how they hold up over the season but teams like they look so far that limit mistakes usually take of business when they should and not the entire BIG10 is a big boy.

In another week or so, IU hoops might join football in the rankings. The Hoosiers are #28 ... with a bullet.

I'm still ticked about the whole Woody ordeal--and I desperately wanted McCollum--but I liked what I saw against Marquette. I don't know how this roster will perform in the B1G, but it's nice to see a group of players and coaches who actually appear to give a shit ... unlike Bigfoot's Bastards™️.

And I guarantee DD won't have a cigar and wine fiesta after a loss, which is nice. Oh, and the assistants stay awake during games. What a novel concept.

@gthomas McCollum and DD are more alike than different. I think Dolson and DD hit it off. I like what I see so far.
