@curtdog for sure.  At the end of the day 3 is worth more than 2 so if we keep shooting 50% from deep our size down low won’t matter.  But ya I don’t see how we are gonna get any rebounds against some of the big ten teams.

@cavanagh Miles seemed productive, although didn't he go 0fer on his first trip to the line? He doesn't seem as willing or natural a passer as the other guys, and felt like he interrupted the flow a bit, but I did like seeing his athleticism, and he came up with a couple nice boards and another nice dunk.

@kkott ya he’s a horrid shooter but a hell of an athlete.  Good to have off the bench

Really like the system offensively and the fact that it appears like they have been running it for years.  Biggest concern is foul trouble for the bigs when they start playing P5 teams that will attack them in paint. Right now it looks like the team has finally transitioned to 21st century basketball where a big like Bailey rebounds and takes off pushing the ball like a PG. How does IU rank on pace?  Do they keep track of that in college. The ball keeps moving and just not much ball stoppage.   Seems coach has assembled a lot of hgh IQ skilled players.

@kkott He has the "Romeo wrap" on his shooting hand.  He wasn't known as a knock down shooter, coming in to IU.  More of an athlete type wing.  But shooting with that particular wrap on your shooting hand/wrist, isn't easy.

@iunorth I'm not even talking about his shooting, I just thought the ball stuck in his hand, more than the other guys. With our passing, it looks like everyone knows to move the ball, until it hits the shooter who doesn't usually hesitate. When the ball got to Miles last night, it looked to me like his first thought was "how can I score", vs where do I need to get the ball to.

I agree.  We likely won't shoot 50% every game and more than likely won't do it against upper echelon teams.  They will defend us better and close out much quicker.  Which won't give as much spacing for our shooters which makes the ball movement even more vital.  But I digress to rebounding. Not knocking down shots will obviously lead to rebounding ..... we will struggle against bigger stronger teams.  That is our Achilles heel.

This clown has always hated IU.  Did Tom Crean clog his toilet or something?

I don't think he hates IU.

Hope is not optimism, which expects things to turn out well, but something rooted in the conviction that there is good worth working for. - Seamus Heaney, Irish poet and likely Hoosier basketball fan.
