Any thoughts on DeVries adding another player to the 2025/26 roster as a result of the NCAA declining Goode's appeal?
Hopefully DeVries will find a European big...
Is there anyone out there left ?
@hoosiers94 Perhaps a foreign guy but I don't know. DeVries and staff knew there was more than a strong possibility of Goode not getting a waiver.
Probably not. And anyone we add would be a project — which is fine, but they won’t impact this season much.
My guess...IU keeps that scholarship open and uses it for an additional slot in the 2026 class. It saves you a bit of money on revenue sharing/NIL funds and I don't think there are any difference makers that you could add at this late stage. Barring a big man that emerges from Europe and can be added in the next 45 days or so (before school starts), the roster is what it is.
@tjinman1987 Maybe a serviceable 5th yr senior who is only eligible one yr
While I regarded God as a tyrant I thought my sin a trifle; But when I knew Him to be my Father, then I mourned that I could ever have kicked against Him. When I thought God was hard, I found it easy to sin; but when I found God so kind, so good, so overflowing with compassion, I smote upon my breast to think that I could ever have rebelled against One who loved me so, and sought my good.” C. @vanpastorman Got to think that if someone is added to the roster it will be within the next week or so.

Seems like there is a handful of intriguing options left. Here is a link to the available players I the portal:

- Vids are still showing LG practicing. I don't know how all this works, but could he possibly play as a walk-in? GoHoosiers
@tjinman1987 You predicted the roster outcome with the following sentence: "Barring a big man that emerges from Europe and can be added in the next 45 days or so (before school starts), the roster is what it is."
Way to go!
@bigmike We need to get stock advice from him.
